Our kids have been going to the day camp put on each summer by the local Audubon, and it’s fun seeing how much more than me they know about birds. Most of what I know is about our little pet parakeet, who is a love. :)
This is a delightful post, Hillarie! And I love the book recommendations. I am so disconnected from nature right now, it is making me sick. I currently live in a tiny apartment with no outdoor area. Only go out to take my dog for a walk on city streets and grocery shopping (my closest connection to a vegetable garden!) I will be moving in April and I long for a small house in the country-ish...or at least a yard with trees!

I love that! I'd love to do something like that with my kids ☺️
That gardening book by Timber Press looks awesome! Thanks for the recommendation :-)
You're welcome! If you get it, let me know what you think.
